Central Railway Sportspersons Recruitment 2022-23 : CENTRAL RAILWAY, MUMBAI invites online applications for recruitment of Sportspersons against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) in Group “C” grades for the year 2022-23. The last date for submission of online applications is 12 December 2022.

• Total Vacancies – 21

Age Limit

• 18 – 25 years as on 01/01/2023.
• No age relaxation for Reserved category candidates.

Pay Scale – Grade Pay ₹ 2400/ 2800 & 1900/ 2000

Educational Qualification

Grade Pay ₹ 2800 / 2400: A University Degree or its equivalent

Grade Pay ₹ 1900/200: 12 pass only / 10th pass + ITI

Sports Achievements

Only those sportspersons who have acquired the following sports achievement eligibility norms in the championship from 01/04/2020 and are active, will be eligible to apply for appointments against above posts under Sports Quota.

(A) Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Youth/Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category) / Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)/Youth Olympics/Champions Trophy (Hockey)

OR

(B) At least 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category / Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)/South Asian Federation Games (Senior Category )/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category ) /World University Games

OR

(C) At least 3″ Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships

OR

(D)At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association

OR

(E) At least 3″ position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities

OR

(F) 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category)

For Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex- Servicemen/Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Class :- Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only)
