South Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2022-23 – South Western Railway invites applications from eligible sports persons for filling up 21 posts in different disciplines against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2022-23.

2. Chess (w)
3. Water polo (m)
4. Athletics (m)
5. Cricket (w)
6. Badminton (m)
7. Golf (m)
8. Weightlifting (m)
9. Swimming (m)
10. Table tennis (m)
11. Volleyball (m)

• Total Vacancies – 21 (Twenty-One)

Age Limit

• Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2023
• No age Relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University for Level 4/5 Rs. 25500-81100 / Rs. 29200-92300
• Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Or 10th pass Educational Qualification must be from a Recognized Institution. For Level 2/3 Rs. 19900-63200 / Rs. 21700-69100

Sports Achievements

Only those sportspersons who have acquired the following sports achievement eligibility norms in the championship from 01/04/2020 and are active, will be eligible to apply for appointment against above posts under Sports Quota.

(A) Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Youth/Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category) / Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)/Youth Olympics/Champions Trophy (Hockey )

OR

(B) At least 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category / Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)/South Asian Federation Games (Senior Category )/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category ) /World University Games

OR

(C) At least 3″ Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships

OR

(D)At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association

OR

(E) At least 3″ position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities

OR

(F) 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category).

Examination Fees

• For all Candidates except mentioned in Sub Para Below :- Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only)
• For Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex- Servicemen/Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Class :- Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only)
